Adelaide Pathology Partners is a medically owned and operated practice, which was established in March 1999, with the aim to provide a high-calibre histopathology and cytology service to the South Australian Medical community. The laboratory is accredited by NATA and participates in all available quality assurance programs.

In February 2007 the practice expanded its services to include all major disciplines in pathology including biochemistry, endocrinology, haematology, serology, immunology, microbiology, and molecular biology. We have a new state-of-the-art laboratory at 52 Sir Donald Bradman Drive just adjacent to the existing histopathology laboratory. The laboratory has excellent scientific and technical staff and is supervised by experienced clinical pathologists.

Our philosophy is to provide high-quality, accurate and timely pathology services to our clinical colleagues. Our pathologists are available for clinical consultation and are also committed to responding to the needs of our clinical colleagues to continually improve our service.

Our request forms enable you to choose bulk billing or private alternatives (A4 and A5 forms are available) and we have arrangements with all the major health funds. For private hospital and accredited day surgery in patients, no gap payment is applicable and the account is sent directly to the health funds rather than to your patient. Results are routinely printed on A5 or A4 paper and can be sent by fax if requested.

Adelaide pathology practice operates an encryption protected electronic report delivery system, which is Web-based and compatible with all major computer programs including Medical Director.
